Our Mission

“I am 24, so Gen Z, and was recently confirmed into the Church. The only people who I believe will be left in TEC [The Episcopal Church] in the coming decades will be a few of us willing to take charge. There won’t be many, but they will likely be traditional, since the Episcopal Church is unable to keep young people despite being so progressive. If we do the reconquista right, we can turn it back and grow it in the proper direction again.”

This is just one voice of many, crying out for a return to orthodox teaching in The Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States. Over the decades there have been many pitfalls, from improper understandings of the sacrament of marriage leading to affirmation of the LGBTQ+ movement, to support for late-term abortions as children cry out in death, and even the death of scriptural authority giving us false and broken definitions of God. In order to return to Him, we must return to the Church.

Running away or standing on the sidelines while the Episcopal Church tears itself apart does no one any good. Our only chance at saving it is by returning to the pews, young and old, advocating for truth, and trying our best to bring historic parishes back into God’s graces. We can only do this together, and we can’t do it by turning our back on the Mainline denominations. Reach out and learn how you can get involved.

The Episcopal Fellowship for Renewal is a lay-led movement. Our current leadership roster includes Emma Shasteen, Jacob Scoggins, Wes Morgan, James Austin, and Matt Cornyn.
